Is EF a semitone?
The distance between E and F is a semitone; it’s not possible to squeeze another note in between them, because there is nothing between them on the piano keyboard. Now find A and B flat.
Why is E to FA Semi tone?
A tone or whole step as it’s called in the US, is the next smallest interval after a semitone. The word semi actually means half and so we can think of a semitone as half a tone.
