Can u wear shorts to Go Ape?
It’s easy to know what to wear in the height of summer: a pair of shorts and a t-shirt tend to do the trick.
Do you wear a helmet at Go Ape?
Will I be wearing a helmet? You will only have to wear a helmet if you’re participating on Forest Segway. Go Ape has consulted widely whilst risk assessing the benefits or disadvantages of participants wearing helmets on our high ropes experiences.
Is Go Ape difficult?
The Go Ape course at Wendover Woods is extreme in its entirety. The aptly-named ‘Extreme’ route includes some of our most-challenging crossings, some of which are enough to make the bravest of gorillas shake in their shoes. And before you even reach those crossings, you’ve got to take-on a scrambling net.
Does Go Ape have a weight limit?
For 16-17 year olds, we recommend printing the waiver at home and bringing a signed copy to Go Ape. over a year ago. The weight limit is listed as 285 pounds, but is dependent on being able to fit in the harness.
Do you need gloves for Go Ape UK?
Had lots of fun on this! I’m a little scared of heights but it’s not actually too high and if you do fall it is very safe. Wear gloves and something you don’t mind getting mucky as the landing for each zip wire is very muddy.
Can I take my phone on Go Ape?
Any mobile devices such as cameras or mobile phones that you wish to take on the course must be attached to you at all times or switched off and kept in a secure pocket. If you will be supervising any under 16 year olds.
Where do you put your bags at Go Ape?
At Go Ape we can put small valuables like keys and phones in our cabin lockers but do not store large items such as bags, coolers and children. We suggest that adventurers leave their belongings in the car as there are regular water and hand sanitiser stations around the course.
How strict are Go Ape on height?
However, under 6’s can do the course as long as they are at least 1 metre tall and are likely to enjoy it. One adult can supervise two children, but only one child is recommended if it is their first time.

Is Go Ape scary?
What you’ve got to remember when you visit us is that, even though you’re in the tree tops, you’re extremely safe. You wear a harness and are clipped-on to safety lines, so if you were to lose your footing on one of the obstacles all you’d do is dangle there (which can be scary, but is not dangerous!).
Does Go Ape close in high winds?
The only times we shut our courses are if it’s icy, stormy or super windy, or during a thunderstorm.
