Care Credit Minimum Credit Score
For the best approval odds with CareCredit, you’ll need a credit score of 620 or higher. However, some users report approval with scores around 600. If you’re score is lower than 600 you’ll have a hard time getting approval.
What are care credit standard terms?
CareCredit Standard Terms is for smaller purchases that are under $200. Use your card for chiropractic treatment, teeth whitening products, co-payments, skin care products or pet care supplies at enrolled providers. Purchases under $200 are not eligible for Special Financing.
A CareCredit card has a maximum credit limit of $25,000. For charges of $200 or more, CareCredit offers “no-interest” promotional periods of six, 12, 18 and 24 months, depending on the provider.
Why did CareCredit deny me?
If you’re considered high-risk, you may be denied credit entirely or you may be offered a loan with a very high interest rate. If you have good credit and present a low risk, the lender may decide that you should be approved and may offer you their most competitive rates.
It’s there for you in case of a health emergency, and it’s not hurting your credit rating. Although applying for CareCredit did result in a small credit scoring dip, you needn’t worry about long-term damage. Hard inquiries can only affect a credit score for up to a year.

Can my girlfriend use my CareCredit?
It can be used as a method of payment for the account holder’s family members and even pets. Once an account holder is approved for the CareCredit credit card, the card can be used multiple times without the need to constantly reapply.

If you’re confident you can pay off your medical bills within CareCredit’s promotional period, applying may be worth it so that you can stretch out your payments over time.

Patients or clients can go online to see if they prequalify, then apply or they can apply by phone. Once approved, they can immediately use the CareCredit credit card to pay for deductibles, copays and coinsurance, and costs not covered by insurance.
Can I pay off my CareCredit early?
The total credit limit of the card, less any existing account balances and pending charges, is the “available credit limit” that can be used to make additional purchases. There is no penalty for paying your balance in full at the end of the month, or making more than the required minimum payment at any time.
What is a forced purchase?
A forced buy-in occurs in a short seller’s account when the original lender of the shares recalls them. This can also occur when the broker is no longer able to borrow shares for the shorted position.
Any of the three major credit bureaus may be checked when you apply for CareCredit. That’s not to say they check all three, only that the one they do check will be chosen randomly. This means it’s important to make sure your credit reports from all three bureaus are in good shape.
Does CareCredit cover vet bills?
Yes, you can use your CareCredit card to finance a wide range of pet-related expenses, from routine vet visits to unexpected accident and illness care at locations in the CareCredit network. You can even pay for your pet’s food and nutrition with your CareCredit card at locations that accept it.
