Why does the Master Sword break?
Just like any other weapon, the Master Sword takes damage each time it makes contact with an object or an enemy. Unlike the vast majority of other weapons, the Master Sword becomes depleted of energy instead of breaking.
Well, the short answer is no. Players cannot repair weapons in Breath of the Wild. However, there are a couple of exceptions to this rule. The fabled Master Sword does not break, it just needs to recharge every so often.
Can the Master Sword be broken in Botw?
It doesn’t ‘break’ you always have it in your inventory. It does run out of power during which you can’t use it for about 10 minutes.
Unfortunately, the answer to that question is yes. If you use the Master Sword too much in Breath of the Wild, it will eventually break in a fight, and you won’t be able to use it.
