There aren’t any Tieks in stores or Tieks retailers, so if you were hoping to find Tieks shoes at Nordstrom or Macy’s, you’re out of luck. And brand new Tieks are generally only found on the Tieks Boutiek, so other online shoe stores like Zappos don’t carry them.

Do Tieks run true to size?
Are Tieks true to size? Yes, for the most part. Tieks ballet flats run true to size with a few exceptions. Obviously, if you wear a half size you won’t be able to order your usual size since Tieks doesn’t offer half sizes.
Do Tieks get smelly?
I wouldn’t go so far to say that my Tieks never smell but given that I wear them without socks in hot, sweaty weather, they are remarkably odour free. They definitely don’t retain odour in the same way that my previous flats did. While they might smell a little at the end of a long day, the next day they’ll be fine.
Are Tieks washable?
Amazingly they are machine washable, so you just remove the insoles and throw the shoes and insoles in the wash (in cold water on a delicate cycle) and they come out looking new. I haven’t needed to wash them yet, but my friend has multiple times with no issues.
Does Tieks have arch support?
Tieks don’t have built-in arch support, but they are designed with a unique shape and padding for comfort and durability. If you prefer additional support, Tieks can accomodate many types of orthotic inserts.
Are Tieks good for wide feet?
Should I size up or size down? Tieks don’t come in half sizes, so people often ask if they should size up or size down if they typically wear a half size. The FAQ page of the Tieks website says you can go either way, but they recommend that people with wide feet size up.
Are Tieks good for plantar fasciitis?
Yes, you can wear Tieks if you have Plantar Fasciitis, but you should definitely wear them with supportive insoles for more comfort.

Thick non-skid rubber outsole patches in our signature Tiek Blue color provide traction and shock absorption to keep you grounded with every step. The brown leather midsole is specially treated to be both flexible and durable, allowing the shoe to be folded and unfolded repeatedly.
How do I stop my Tieks from squeaking?
While Tieks do not have removable insoles, the squeak may be due to rubbing between the teal sole and the leather it is affixed to. So—easy fix: hold your Tieks over the sink and sprinkle baby powder around the sides of the teal sole (trying to get the powder between the sole of the shoe and the leather).
How do you clean the inside of Tieks?
Clean by gently rubbing with a soft damp cloth, adding a mild soap when needed. Due to the metallic finish, we do not recommend using saddle soap on these styles.
Should my toe touch the end of my shoe?
There should be about half an inch between the end of your longest toe and the front of the shoe. If you have small hands, this is about the size of the tip of your index finger. If you have large hands, it’s about the size of the tip of your pinky finger.
Should I size up for wide feet?
