Is Schluter ALL-SET worth it?
Very good stuff. I find that the Schluter Modified thin set is stickier and drys harder than Customs Premium Mortar. I used this product with the schluter kerdi shower system. I used both thin set mortar on large 12×24 porcelain tiles installed in the bathroom.

Yes! In fact, it’s advised to use this product on drywall in your bathroom before laying tile and other materials. Without a waterproof membrane like Kerdi, water and moisture can seep through grout, tile and other materials and end up damaging wood studs and subfloor.

Wait 24 hours after the membrane installation is complete to allow for the final set of the mortar and to ensure waterproof performance of the assembly at seams and connections before water testing.
How long after laying DITRA can I tile?
How long do I have to wait before I can install tile on the Schluter®-DITRA membrane? Once DITRA has been installed on the substrate, tile can be installed right away. No need to wait for the mortar to cure.
Can you use Schluter all set for tile?
Yes. All Schluter Systems’ thin-set mortars, including the ALL-SET® and FAST-SET® modified varieties can be used to set tile over DITRA, DITRA-HEAT, KERDI, KERDI-BOARD, etc.
What happens if you grout tile too soon?
Remember, there’s no harm in grouting your tile several days after you install it, but it is a bad idea to grout too soon. Applying grout too soon will stop the mortar curing process, leading tiles to pop loose from the floor or wall.
