Do I need gasket sealer for oil pan?
There’s no need for gasket glue on an oil pan gasket. I will put a few dabs on the BLOCK side, just to hold the gasket in place while intalling the pan. I do, however, put a big blob of sealant in each of the 4 corners where the cork gasket meets the rubber one.
Can You Use Flex seal on oil pan?
The Flex seal won’t stop the leak. Don’t use the stop leak fix in a bottle as they don’t fix anything. The leak may be stopped for a while, but it will be back and worse.

Do you put RTV on both sides of oil pan gasket?
Put a LITTLE dab of high temp RTV or silicone in each corner on the pan and engine side. Just enough to take up any small gaps that the rubber might not sqeeze into. None on the pan or block except in those areas.
