Can Tado and Nest work together?
They also work with Nest and Hive. Nest / Hive will control the boiler. The tado TRVs will control individual rooms but only if heat is supplied from the boiler by Nest / Hive.

The battery life really depends on how often you wake up the thermostat display – if you’re mainly using the app and rarely touch touch the device should last you at least 12 months. We would always recommend using good quality batteries such as Duracell or Energizer and avoid using rechargeable ones.
Can I have 2 Nest thermostats in my house?
If you have more than one Google Nest thermostat in your home, they’ll work together to try to keep you comfortable and help save energy. If you have multiple thermostats in your home, you can replace any or all of them with a Nest thermostat.
