A Scentsy wax bar can last anywhere between 50 and 60 hours. However, there are many factors that will affect the longetivity of a fragrance. For instance, the strenght of the fragrance, location of a warmer in your home, humidity and even the time of year can affect how long the wax will last.
How often should you change Scentsy wax melts?
We recommend swapping out wax melts whenever you can no longer smell the fragrance when the warmer is ‘on’. For some cheaper wax melts, this can be as often as every 5-8 hours of burn time. For luxury, high-end melts (including Waxpops), your wax melts can hold up to 20 hours of fragrance.
How often do you need to change your wax melts?
One chunk of Glam Wax should last between 8 and 10 hours. When you can no longer smell the fragrance it is time to replace the wax. Light a tealight so the hardened wax melts.
How many times can you use Scentsy wax?
Technically, Scentsy states that a cube of wax will produce a strong fragrance for 6 – 8 hours of warming time before needing to be replaced. In my opinion, some heavier scents last far longer than 8 hours.
How many cubes do you put in a Scentsy warmer?
As you may or may not know, there are 8 cubes per Scentsy Bar. You only need to use one cube at a time.
Can you leave Scentsy warmers on all the time?
In fact, We have Scentsy Warmers and Nightlights in every single room in our home, even in our Garage (we made it our man cave). In the almost 7 Years we’ve been Consultants we’ve never turned off a warmer at night. In fact, all warmers are left on 24/7 with the exception of when we are out of town.
How many times can you remelt wax melts?
Melted wax does not evaporate; only the scent dissipates, so make sure to remove the used wax from your warmer before adding a new cube If using Happy Wax melts, 2-3 wax melts generally yield about 8 hours of fragrance. You are welcome to reuse the wax as many times as you want until the fragrance dissipates.
Does Scentsy wax lose its scent?
Unlike regular candles, your Scentsy wax doesn’t evaporate. So, the scent will eventually disappear before the melted scentsy wax disappears. If the wax is cold, you can go around the edge of it with a toothpick and pop the wax right out. Drop in a new scentsy wax cube (or two) and you’re off and running again.
Why can’t I smell my wax warmer?
If you notice that you can’t smell your wax melt very much, it might be time to change wax, or you might find that your nose has gotten used to the smell as you’ve been around it for a long period of time.
How many hours do wax melts last?
The quick answer is it varies based on the quality of the wax melts, the size of the cube you use in your wax warmer and the temperature of your wax warmer. You should expect a single cube to last between 6 and 12 hours.
How long can you leave a plug in wax warmer on?
Electric wax warmers can be left on for up to 10 hours or until the wax melt has stopped giving off fragrance.
Can you use any wax melts in a Scentsy warmer?
You can but we strongly advise against using other types of wax in your Scentsy Warmer. Our special paraffin wax is lightweight and created to melt at a low temperature. You may find that other waxes won’t even begin to melt in your Scentsy warmer due to our waxes low melting point.
What can you do with old wax melts?
After using your scented wax melts a few times, you’re left with fragrance-free pieces of wax. Don’t throw them out!

What do you do with wax melts after use?
Historically, there are two ways that you can remove your used wax melts in order to start anew. We call it the hot or cold method—or liquid or hard. If your warmer has been on and your wax is liquid, take two cotton balls, set them in the warmer, let it absorb, and discard cotton balls into the trash can.
