Brush head and toothbrush handle guide
The snap-on or click-on brush heads are compatible with most of our rechargeable Sonicare Toothbrush handles. These will fit all Philips Sonicare toothbrush handles except for the PowerUp Battery and Essence model, which have their own unique brush heads.
Do all Oral-B Heads fit all electric toothbrushes?
All of the Oral-B brush heads will fit to and work with any of the current and many older Oral-B electric toothbrushes. They are designed to be interchangeable*. All brush heads work on any Oral-B brush handle and cleaning mode.
Are Sonicare and Oral-B the same?
While each each brand offers different types of brush heads — for targeting specific dental concerns — the basics of them are the same: Sonicare employs an oblong brush head; Oral-B uses rounded brush heads. Brushing with a Sonicare is a little more difficult to maneuver in the mouth.
Do Oral-B Heads fit all models?
With the exception of Pulsonic models, all Oral B brush heads work with all Oral B toothbrushes so you can interchange different heads. This means you can build multiple heads into your cleaning routine, depending on the type of cleaning action you want. Precision Clean is the original Oral B brush head.
How do I tell which Sonicare model I have?

Are Sonicare c2 and W heads interchangeable?

With few exceptions, the range of brush heads on offer from Sonicare work with any brush handle. This means whether you have a DiamondClean Smart or a FlexCare brush handle you can use the ProResults Gum Health or the Sensitive brush head or the AdaptiveClean head if you prefer.
Are all Sonicare chargers the same?
The DiamondClean and DiamondClean Smart chargers are not interchangeable with each other or with other Philips Sonicare toothbrush handles. Even if the charging light on the handle blinks, it will not charge properly.

When should I replace my Oral-B brush head?
Dentists recommend replacing toothbrush head every 3 months, as the bristles become frayed and worn with use which reduces the cleaning effectiveness of the toothbrush. Many Oral-B brush heads refills feature indicator bristles that fade halfway to help remind you when to replace your toothbrush head.
