Depending on arrival/departure gates the walk between terminals could be anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes. Instead, take the SkyLink Tram. It’s inside the secure area – trams run every 3 minutes and it will take only about 2 or 3 minutes to get between terminal B & D. There’s no way you can walk this.
