Grate an existing bar of commercial soap into smaller pieces, melt it, and then remold it. Melt your pieces in water in the top pot of a double boiler or in a microwave. Stir your soap as it melts.
Is it safe to microwave soap?

You can reheat MP Soap up to two times. If soap is reheated, add 1/2 tablespoon of distilled water per pound of MP Soap Base each time the soap is reheated.
How do you fix soap that is too soft?
