Will the Post Office pack my item?
Can I go to my local post office and get my parcel packed and wrapped, or do i have to do it myself? The Postal Service will not pack or wrap items for their customers.
What kind of boxes can you ship USPS?
You can use any box to ship USPS First Class, provided your item meets the 15.999-ounce weight limit. First Class package shipping is really only for small, light boxes – if you want to send something heavier/bigger, you’ll have to choose a different shipping service.
Will the Post Office tape my box?
USPS provides free shipping supplies for Priority and Express mail. Labels, envelopes, tape, etc. That being said, they do have regular tape available for parcel post, but it is at the discretion of the clerk to use it. Usually, if it looks like you made the effort, they’ll help you out, but otherwise, NEXT!

Yes, you can reuse Amazon boxes for your next shipping, whether through the post or courier companies! You have to make sure that you cover the previous labels so that the parcel does not end up delivered to another destination.
Can you use a shoe box to ship USPS?
Yes, you can. The only boxes that HAVE to be wrapped are those that have alcohol or corrosive words/pictures/labels (like household cleaners, etc). A shoe box that is taped good is fine – I’ve done it MANY times!
